Pallet supports are used to provide a stable structure to the bottom of the pallet. When pallets become misaligned, there is a risk of product and supply falling through the support structures, but with our hat shaped pallet supports, these loss of product and supplies can be prevented by keeping the pallets aligned correctly.
Our pallet supports are constructed with heavy-duty galvanized metal to provide a durable and rugged system that will last. The dimensions of our supports are 38 11/16” long and are designed for 1 5/8” deep step beams.
They can be easily secured via holes at each end that can be attached to the storage system’s beams. Since the crossbar is able to set flush against the inner part of the beams, the support will not impede labels so you can easily track supplies while maintaining a high integrity pallet storage system.
Hat shaped pallet supports are called such because of their “hat-like” appearance. This allows the support to set flush with the beam, giving a secure way to attach the crossbars to the rest of the structure. Pallet rack systems sometimes require more support to accommodate varying loads and to prevent supplies and products from falling through the system. That is where hat shaped pallet supports are applied, to give support to the bottom of pallets that are being stored in the pallet rack system.
Our pallet supports will give you the confidence to load pallets efficiently and will increase your productivity because of the certainty you can have when loading pallets at elevated heights. Depending on the weight of the load, you can decide whether it would be best to have wired decks (which we also supply) to secure your pallet loads or if you should go with the hat shaped supports which will require less space at a reduced weight.
