An office mezzanine is an office that is either on top of or below a mezzanine structure. Mezzanine offices are usually used in warehouses or factories where mezzanine structures are usually made from a metal frame, staircases and platforms. Mezzanines can be useful for building storage in factories or warehouses by using the space above machinery or storage space, as an office mezzanine.
Mezzanine offices may have a ventilation system, as they do not have windows to let in air, because the air in the facility may be full of debris and particulates. They may also include a staircase to allow access to the office by employees.
These can range from small offices that can hold one or two people, to larger offices that can hold up 10 to 20 people. Smaller mezzanines can also be used for storage.
